May 2025 Republican lead Democrat +12 on the Economy.

Let's go, Taco.

Not sure if and when the democrats will realize that their message on the economy and everything else does not resonate with most people outside of their own political base, which BTW is dwindling. Unless they change their agenda (not likely), their only hope is a total screw-up by Trump and the GOP.

Yep... You read that right. In May 2024 Republicans lead by +9. Today Republicans lead by +12.

Whatever you Democrats think you're accomplishing...it ain't working.
Over 80% of Americans said that democracy is at least being tested while neither party is seen as being able to get things done in a CNN poll released June 1.

The poll found that 49% of respondents believe that American democracy is under attack and 36% believe that American democracy is being tested.

Respondents held a dim view of both parties, even as 58% said that the government should do more to solve problems – a record high in over 30 years of the network's polling.

The network reported that respondents were split on if either party represented the middle class, with a third saying neither did.

Republicans saw a seven-point advantage over Democrats on handling the economy, the narrowest lead on the issue in the polling since 2022 and lost over half of their advantage on immigration, falling from a 14-point lead in November 2023 to a six-point lead in the new poll.

As of March 2025, the breakdown of registered voters in U.S. states and territories that report party affiliation is as follows
  • Democrats: 45.3 million voters — 37.04%
  • Republicans: 37.8 million voters — 30.94%
  • Independents/Unaffiliated: 33.8 million voters — 27.6%
  • Other parties: 5.4 million voters — 4.42%
It's worth noting that these figures only include states that allow and report party affiliation on voter registration forms. In states that don’t, party alignment is typically inferred through polling.

We are in the first lap of Trump's economic marathon of disaster.

Unless Trump drops all the tariffs and at least pretends to be sane, it will get much worse.

Additionally, Moody just lowered the U.S. credit rating because lenders are losing faith that America will continue to pay its debts in the future....especially if this new disastrous "Big Beautiful Bill" passes Congress.
I said the same thing today. Lenders are losing faith. TACO is screwing it up again.

Wow, a hell of a lot of independents and democrats voted for Trump.

Average people know very little about economic policy.

All they know are the actuals through the bias of positive or negative news in their information bubble.

They don't know what Trump is doing, they don't know how Republicans are enabling it. All they know for now is that inflation has not yet kicked in.

It will, as stockpiled goods run out and they will start to actually buy newly-tarrifed imports, and when that will happen they will start to get a clue why.

But Antonio does. Give us a break. The only thing Anton knows how to do, is be a LEFTIST!

The question is, who will blink first. This is not only affecting the united states.

Average people know very little about economic policy.

Average leftists know even less about economic policy.

All they know are the actuals through the bias of positive or negative news in their information bubble.

The leftist information bubble hasn't been working very well lately.

They don't know what Trump is doing, they don't know how Republicans are enabling it.

They hear the constant leftist mewling about it and are skeptical.

Yes yes, lefties suck suck suck and you will tell everyone that they suck every chance you get. :itsok:

I have to say, your predictable, incurable smallism always brings me a smile.

Thanks tool.
