Several Jeffrey Epstein survivors are suing the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Google over the “wrongful disclosure and re-publication” of their personal information in files tied to the federal probe into the convicted sex offender’s crimes.

, filed Thursday in the Northern District of California on behalf of Jane Doe and other victims, alleges that the DOJ “outed approximately 100 survivors” in the documents released in late 2025 and early 2026.

“Even after the government acknowledged the disclosure violated the rights of the survivors and withdrew the information, online entities like Google continuously republish it, refusing victims’ pleas to take it down,” the complaint stated.

As so often, a congressional action - ostensibly well meaning - leads to harm or further harm to the innocent.

You can be sure that many of the male names on the list will sue also, claiming that they are victims of Epstein's blackmail scheme, or his slander, or just insulting remarks that he made about them which were subsequently published in the name of "transparency." They can win, if anyone else can win.

Which I doubt. Sueing the government is almost always a loser, and how can google be blamed?

Sorry, but what are his bonafides that make him an actual conservative versus one that just opposes the President on an issue and trying to make a niche for themselves? It's not like we've had this happen before with either party. Before Massie, there was the "Maverick" John McCain. There was Liz Cheney and Adam Kitzinger. Democrats had Manchin, Joe Lieberman, and Sinema.
