Possible mass grave from 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre found by researchers

The HBO series Watchmen was probably the main reason many folks even know there was a such thing as a Tulsa Race Riot, which is sad in itself -- but at least now more people know about it...

"Experts at the University of Oklahoma believe they have found a possible mass grave site from the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre at a city cemetery, although they are unsure how many bodies are underneath. Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum initiated an investigation into rumored mass graves of the Tulsa Race Massacre in October 2018, calling the riots a "point of shame for our community," NBC affiliate KJRH reported at the time.

Phoebe Stubblefield, a forensic anthropologist at the University of Florida, cautioned at the hearing that the number of bodies inside the trench could be anywhere from 10 to 100. She also said it's unlikely that researchers will be able to identify any remains."

Basically for those who still don't know about it -- basically it began after a black teenager named Dick Rowland was falsely accused of having assaulted a white woman. When he was arrested, a racist mob demanded that the sheriff turn him over to them. Black men from the community offered their help to the Sheriff to help protect Rowland, but he turned them away... Still concerned that Rowland faced being lynched by the mob, more black men returned to the courthouse later that night -- those trying to protect Rowland were outnumbered -- what happened later was the mob going from house to house, shooting men, women and children, burning down the Greenwood district of Tulsa (named Black Wallstreet), which was one of the most prosperous neighborhoods in the whole state.....it is also one of the only times that a state government used planes to bomb its own citizens (but not the last....).

What is more sad is that - also around this time..and also in Oklahoma -- the Osage murders happened...where a community basically conspired to kill Native Americans for their oil rights..another story that has basically been forgotten...

Here we go....

Meanwhile blacks kill more blacks and still enslave more blacks than any other race.

How a Nearly Successful Slave Revolt Was Intentionally Lost to History

More than 500 slaves fought for their freedom in this oft-overlooked rebellion

Also

Tensions broke out in violence on November 23, 1887, and the local white paramilitary forces attacked black workers and their families in Thibodaux. Although the total number of casualties is unknown, at least 35 black people were killed in the next three days (more historians believe 50 were killed) and as many as 300 overall killed, wounded or missing,[2][3] making it one of the most violent labor disputes in U.S. history. Victims reportedly included elders, women and children. All those killed were African American.[4]

The Sand Creek massacre (also known as the Chivington massacre, the battle of Sand Creek or the massacre of Cheyenne Indians) was a massacre of Cheyenne and Arapaho people by the U.S. Army in the American Indian Wars that occurred on November 29, 1864, when a 675-man force of the Third Colorado Cavalry[3] under the command of U.S. Army Colonel John Chivington attacked and destroyed a village of Cheyenne and Arapaho people in southeastern Colorado Territory,[4] killing and mutilating an estimated 150–500 Native Americans, about two-thirds of whom were women and children[5]. The location has been designated the Sand Creek Massacre National Historic Site and is administered by the National Park Service. This was part of a series of events known as the Colorado War and was preceded by the Hungate massacre.[6]

At least 10 Native American tribes owned slaves and fought for the confederacy. Including the Cherokee. So, since that stupid skinny bitch insists she is a Cherokee, does she owe reparations too?

No?

Explain why.

There are a lot of interesting things in history.

But leaping to the conclusion that Mr. Rowland was "falsely accused" is an error. The real story is that Mr. Rowland was never formally exonerated by a jury. After the Tulsa riots, the broad who made the accusation, like many sexual assault victims, chose not to go forward.

No one really knows if Rowland was the guilty party, or if the real rapist was never charged. In any event, the whole incident was 98 years ago, and all of the principals have presumedly passed on by this point in time.

What irony.

Not only did at least 10 Native American tribes fight for the confederacy and own slaves, but all Native American tribes are very thankful to whites for 3 words that they didn't have prior to normal people showing up to the shores.

Rather telling. I know, l know, them owning slaves was not their fault. They were too stupid to get it.

We agree with that.
