Zone1 Mary

Did you read it?
You mean the Doctrine and Covenants you are following that lists what you have to do to get to each level to become God?

How is that not a plan to reach your goal of becoming God?

So it's not your goal to become a God?
My goal is to do the very best I can and continue to improve each day with those things the Godhead require to live in the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom with my wife and family who obtain this too through their efforts. In the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom we have the possibility of inheriting our own universe and populate it with our own spirit children as resurrected parents. Not everyone seeks this out. I would certainly be willing and to do this if I qualify. God will decide this at judgment day. I think it's a worthy goal. Why seek for second or third best?

It's part of the plan or program to obtain exaltation in the highest degree of the Celestial Kingdom of Glory. Starts with a valiant testimony. Not a wavering one or none at all in Jesus Christ.

The goal or objective of your religion is to become God. Section 76 of your Doctrine and Covenants literally spells out what you need to do to become God as you so astutely pointed out.

Which is to become God as per Section 76 of your Doctrine and Covenants.

So I don't get it. People in the media are upset about this but not about race swaps?

Honestly it looks sort of boring and I prefer The Nativity Story (movie) myself, but at least they're close with the ethnicity unlike some movies.

I think it looks amazing to be honest.

I'm not Catholic; I don't believe Mary remained a virgin for her entire life, and I think the Bible is clear that Jesus had brothers and sisters.

BUT

What a remarkable young woman. I'm always astounded and humbled and touched that she experienced motherhood just as the rest of us did. She KNEW she had a special Baby, but I always take the verses where she "marveled" and "pondering this in her heart" to mean.....she kinda got lost in the routine of feeding, soothing, changing, etc.

In other words, she was just a mom. A real mom.

I just love that.

Well let's see. Mary, mother of Jesus, was a Jew descended from a long line of Jews. And it is inappropriate to cast a Jew in the role? Somebodies need to read their Bibles.

Jesus said we are gods in embryo. We need certain things to get there that Jesus provided. 1Corinthians chapter 15 also gave a glimpse of the need to obtain the 3rd heaven, celestial glory. It’s not just Doctrine and Covenants.

John 10:34. He was referring to Psalms 82:6 when he said it back then. We are still children of our Heavenly Father even after we may obtain God's and Goddess's.

I know. I was just being smart with you lol :P

So you shouldn't be afraid of owning your desire to become God.

It's super flawed logic; an eternal chain of Gods into the past and into the future.
Talk to Cougarbear about all that 1950s-style of Mormonism.

He is the go to guy since Bob Blaylock crossed the starbridge.
