I'll give you time to research this, since you don't know your history very well. Here's the question: Who led the filibuster to stop the 1964 Civil Rights Act from being voted on? Here's another question: Who BROKE the filibuster?

Robert Byrd (a Democrat) LED the filibuster to stop the Civil Rights Act, and you can't defend that, so you try to change the subject to attacking the Republicans. Let's stick to the subject, and that is that Democrats have blacks enslaved. They didn't want them freed in the first place. It was Northern conservatives that fought and died for their freedom. After the first Republican president freed them, the Democrats kept them ignorant so they would have to work for "slave wages". After the Civil Rights Act, blacks didn't participate in the voting process so the Democrats started enticing them with welfare. Today, blacks make more money collecting government benefits than they could make working at a job. It was just a matter of how much money they would have to give them to make them go out and vote. So, how much do you collect from the taxpayers, Jake?

We came out of WWII as the worlds greatest military and economic power. But we were not a great moral power. Any nation that openly allows some of it's citizens to maintain the status as second rate citizens is not a moral power. Any nation that denies citizens the right to vote, to access public facilities, to get fair and equal access to our courts is not a moral power

Martin Luther King saved us from ourselves. He is a great American Patriot who fought for our freedom

I give George Bush a lot of credit for what he did in Africa. By some accounts, he saved a million lives.
