He's played his last game in the garden. He'll likely retire this offseason. Whether you like the overspending, underachieving Rangers or not, you have to admire a man that has played at the NHL level for 25 seasons.

He may have won 5 Stanly Cups in his career, but he'll be remembered for bringing the one to the Rangers after a 54 year drought.

Why? He's still scored more goals than every player on the devils except Elias. You've been telling me for the past 4 years that Messier should have retired, yet year after year he puts up the numbers!
