Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls for U.S. Withdrawal From NATO

NATO has broken its promise of being for peace and not being aggressors. NATO has marched east and threatens Russia. NATO is now engaged in a proxy war with Russia over a country not in that alliance.

We didn't attack Russia. Nor are our soldiers fighting Russia. Russia attacked Ukraine. Russia is the aggressor.

We're supporting Ukraine with weapons, training and equipment to defend themselves from Russian aggression.

Why? Because Ukraine isn't Russia's goal anymore than 'de-nazification' is. Poland is. Lithuania is. Estonia is. The western most borders of the former Soviet Union is, where Russia was able to defend itself by creating geographic pinch points.

And those are NATO nations. If they're attacked, we'll defend them.

Here's the problem: Russia.....is inept at waging conventional war. They performed so poorly, embarassed themselves so completely that they scared the SHIT out of NATO leadership.

Why? We'd wipe the floor with them so thoroughly, so easily and so completely........that actual nuclear war would essentially be there only option to balance our ludicrous conventional advantage. By keeping the fight in Ukraine, by making Russia deplete its young men and treasure there, rather in than in NATO countries.....we're preventing that direct confrontation.

Making our support of Ukraine one of the smartest investments this nation and her allies has ever made.

Russia has captured/controls most of Eastern “Ukraine”, and of course Crimea.

Ukraine army is defeated, desperate for soldiers. Their “counter offensive” has been a massive flop.

But don’t worry. Biden is ramping up our military to get involved. He just activated IRR for Ukraine. If he steals the next election again, he will declare the US must get involved and send trolls in, and you will clap like a seal.

Yes, that’s called a proxy war.

But not with our troops. Not with our blood. Not with our soil. Not with a generation of our young men.

Russia and Ukraine share several things, among them a demographic death spiral. With Russia only making worse by killing and maiming tens of thousands of its own.

If Ukraine is defeated, then why isn't this over? There's clearly something you're missing.

The Russian military outnumbers Ukraine's by an order of magnitude. And yet they've retreated. They've lost hundreds of tanks and tens of thousands of troops.

You don't seem to understand the scope of the disaster this has been for Russia.

No, he activated troops for the United States European Command’s area of responsibility.

Which Ukraine is not.

You really should read the order you're referencing.

Yes, that is what a proxy war means.

Because it is so much more honorable to just pay the corrupt Kiev government to force conscript their men to fight and die in our place.

The European Command is the platform for any combat operations in Europe, you dolt.

It pretty much is over. Ukraine will not be able to drive the Russians out.

Hence why it is time for peace negotiations and to redraw some borders.

But you warmongers cannot do that. You want to escalate the war and keep feeding Ukraine more and more weapons.

Russia can't take the rest of Ukraine or Kiev. And given that Russia *already* effectively controlled these eastern provinces before the invasion...they retreated to land they already held.

So in exchange for basically NO territory, Russia tanked its economy, weakened its political position from the world, destroyed foreign investment in its economy, lost its Nord pipeline, was humiliated internationally by the inept performance of its military, had its flag ship sank, has lost hundreds of tanks and tens of thousands of soldiers.

This has been a complete disaster for Russia.

Now we're just discussing WHY I'm right that conservatives are queso eating surrender monkeys who want to capitulate to Putin.

The area of responsibility is NATO countries, cuck.

And Biden's order was explicit in the purpose of the activation.

YOU say our troops are for Ukraine. Biden doesn't. NATO doesn't. The order doesn't.

And you're nobody.

The GOP surrender monkeys strike again.

I remember when the GOP used to oppose Russian aggression. I remember when the GOP had a backbone.

What a long, long time ago.

Not long ago, the John Birch Society used to put up big billboards about getting us out of NATO and the UN. How many of you don't see this for what it is.,

How much more evidence do the tards need to see that Marjorie Taylor Gazpacho is a traitor and completely in the pocket of Putin?

Greene on Tuesday proposed an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that would direct President Joe Biden to "withdraw the U.S. from NATO." Biden met with other world leaders at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, on the same day, pledging that the U.S. would maintain its "ironclad commitment" to the alliance.
She blurts out talking points to keep the base happy, with zero (0) thought or understanding.

This base-over-country shit, by ignorant rubes, is putting us in more danger. Now a few of these GQP base-level rubes are in Congress.

As a socialist, I usually disagree with her on practically everything, but here is one of the few issues we agree on. NATO is a cold war dinosaur, still alive for the purpose of filling the coffers of the American and Western European military-industrial complex. NATO is a very lucrative business and it continually pokes the bear, creating instability and increasing our chances of fighting WW3 with Russia. NATO is inherently hostile to Russia, historically, doctrinally, and operationally. It's still an adversary of Russia, over 30 years after the demise of the Soviet Union. We should get rid of it ASAP, and the world will be a much better place. Russia isn't going to allow Ukraine to become a base and launching pad for NATO.
