Foreign aid might actually be something that stops countries from progressing. I've see foreign aid and how it works in Africa. A lot of the times people just steal the money and run off with it. Or you have people who dole the money out, but they want huge cuts of the money.

Very little of it ends up doing something useful.

Africa shouldn't be getting foreign aid, Africa should be getting equitably paid for the resources the West takes from the continent. And Africans shouldn't have leaders picked by the West who are really nothing more than corporate shills.
