The filibuster has long been the last resort of preventing mob rule. Both parties have relied upon it in its current form to prevent one party from having total control of America. The others have capitulated completely to the likes of sanders, cortez and jayapal.

The left doesn't seem to know just how badly they have screwed up the democratic party and our entire country. Everytime they think they are being clever they tear a little bit more of the soul of our nation to shreds. Then when they claim they are trying to save democracy, one of their new young hero's just made it legal for non citizens to vote in New York, I get so angry I could spit.

Where was one place last election where people were denied their right to vote? Why do people think we need an election season 3 months long to allow people to vote, thats pure dishonesty and total stupidity. Only a fool or a dishonest person could see any value in such a thing.

The filibuster was used to stop civil rights legislation in the 50s and 60s when Democrats were doing it. Now the filibuster is being used by Republicans to protect Jim Crow election laws. The filibuster was meant to force both sides to compromise not to stop legislation. The Republican Party is attempting to use the filibuster to ensure one party rule in America. Manchin is not a true Democrat. He actually is a true Republican. He has used his position and Senator to get ric h. He and Synema are both corrupt bastards. The Republican Party has been taken over by right wing fascists. The Republican Party is now the party of the Nazis.

The fact is that it is the Republican Party who is screwing up America. They have been taken over by fascists who are trying to seize control of this country by making it harder to vote. The plan to allow people who are not citizens but are here legally dos make sense. They live in NY so why should they not have a say? They will not be allowed to vote for federal offices.

Republicans are far s\neakier than that. The state of Texas has closed numerous polling places, nost of them minority polling places. Georgia banned in-person 24 hour voting. They cut the number of drop boxes in larger counties severely. There is nothing wrong with a 3 month voting period. There is nothingdishonest about it. You think people are too stupid to see what Republicans are doiong. They are attempting to perform a coup in this country.
