The filibuster has long been the last resort of preventing mob rule. Both parties have relied upon it in its current form to prevent one party from having total control of America. Watching how fast and totally the socialists have tried to completely destroy the America everyone fought for for the last 2 1/2 centuries and watching what has been happening in our schools and in our streets we must hold on to the filibuster or this country will not exist by the next presidential election.Manchin is one of the few true Democrats left in Washington. The others have capitulated completely to the likes of sanders, cortez and jayapal.

The left doesn't seem to know just how badly they have screwed up the democratic party and our entire country. Everytime they think they are being clever they tear a little bit more of the soul of our nation to shreds. Then when they claim they are trying to save democracy, one of their new young hero's just made it legal for non citizens to vote in New York, I get so angry I could spit.

Where was one place last election where people were denied their right to vote? Why do people think we need an election season 3 months long to allow people to vote, thats pure dishonesty and total stupidity. Only a fool or a dishonest person could see any value in such a thing.

The senate is a tie, with a partisan hack as the tie breaker. The house dems lost seats and is closely divided. That filibuster is there to stop the horse manure the leftists, the deviants and the socialists want to ram down our throats. I may retire early and move to WV just so I can vote for Manchin.

Depending on how much more insane the left becomes he may yet do that. But he is still a centrist democrat at heart, the small tent socialists want to drive out the remaining democrats so they can steal the party completey and drive the USA straight into the toilet. They know they have to wreck us totally and irreprairable so that people will accept the draconian social controls that the socialists want to force down our throats. They also know they have to do all of it in one term before the majority of the people see through their treachery and treason. That filibister and the possible defection or threat of defection by manchin is the only thing standing in their way. I do blame Trump for that, had he kept his stupid mouth shut georgia would likely have two GOP senators. Then all of this would be moot.

I am a centrist democrat who understands we need a split government right now because neither party can be trusted. And now that biden and harris have proven themselves totally incompetent, I know we have no choice but to have a congress that will stop them. Russia and china along with Iran and NK are likely going to be doing a lot of very very bad things later this year because they know Biden is a wet wash cloth and our Congress is half full of people that want to see America fail anyway.

Are you talking about, before the fake Republican electors forged their signatures on documents that would have declared Trump the winner, thereby stealing every single Democrat vote in the country, or after the vote count, that expressed Democrats legal/fair vote count, while exposing Republicans strategy to steal the election?
