Man Shaving...

Yes.

For not being able to enjoy a man shave.

😂😇

A "man shave"? Men use these to shave

You can dry the blades after use (you should) and you can also flip the blades over on most safety razors. If you are going through 1 a week you are either doing it wrong or your whiskers are made of iron.
If you dry the blades after a shave, they last a long time.

Reminds me of my dad's "razor strap" that he would beat me silly with when I misbehaved. Although my grandmother inflicted more pain whipping me with an extension cord.

In my 30s I went through a phase wear I shaved my chest/arms/shoulders/back.

Didn’t last long. Talk about a pain in the ass.

My dad and brother were both 'bleeders'. My brother watched me shave once and said if he shaved like that he would bleed to death. That said I used to have some nicks and scrapes before I learned to let the shave cream soften my whiskers a bit.

I’d have nearly a full beard by the end of the week if I did that….
Me too when I was younger. Not only has my beard thinned but I've lost all other body hair (except my head of course).

Yep...

Step #1 Hot steamy shower.

Step #2 Lather up and let it just sit there for 3-5 minutes. Use the time to get you clothes out, brush your teeth, etc.

Step #3 Shave

The shower and letting the lather rest on the wiskers really softens them up for a clean comfortable shave.

I’m losing the hair on top of my head quick now, but seem to be getting hairy on rest of my body as I age

I switched to double-edge safety razors three years after getting tired of paying ridiculous prices for plastic crap.
I've got a fairly wide variety of them, ranging from vintage Gillettes, a couple of vintage Schicks (including an Injector) and some new ones as well:

Gillette Super Speeds (1940s-1960) and a Schick Krona

And one of my newer ones: an Oliworks M3teorite - Aluminum.

My only regret is that I wish I'd dumped cartridge razors about 40 years ago ...

My first shave, I was sent home with a letter, I could not come back to school unless I was clean shaven. I was 13 years old at the time. I got the hot towel, straight razor treatment at the Barbershop, they stayed late for me. My 14th birthday mom and dad got me a double edge razor. I still have it but bought a new one and use stainless steel razors. I need to shave everyday to stay clean shaven.
