The very first time I ever shaved with a razor was in boot camp. I had an electric razor before that and used it about once a week because I was 17.I was barely shaving when I joined the Marines. In Parris Island we had an initial run to the P.X and everyone had to buy the same razor. It was a double blade job that seemed to weigh about a pound. Today I buy a package of disposable jobs in Walmart that weigh almost nothing and each one lasts about a week. A man can get wound up worrying about shaving if he has nothing else to dwell on. I grew a moustache and goatee to cut down on the real estate.
