In a Republic, actually
‘With Donald Trump out of the country, one of his most prominent economic advisers is bashing him for costing America jobs. The U.S. president is currently in the UK, being feted with banquets and parades, while the effects of his trade war with the world are taking effect and that has alarmed Stephen Moore, long associated with Trump going back to his first stint as president.

In a column for the Wall Street Journal, Moore lashed out at Trump’s aluminum tariffs, explaining it is not only crippling job creation but that they make no “economic sense.”

That is a far cry from the stance he took in April of this year when he told Fox News personality Sean Hannity, “Nobody in the media will give Trump, you know, a fair hearing here. It looks like he's getting these deals coming in, and that is good for America. In fact, frankly, it's good for some of these other countries -- to American farmers and American manufacturing products and our technology products. So it looks to me, Sean, like this is kind of going according to plan.”’

Almost five months later, he is no longer so sure.

Congressional Republicans could put a stop to Trump’s reckless, irresponsible tariff agenda – but they won’t, they’re as responsible for this disaster as Trump.

Of course, the people who put him there are as responsible for the disaster as Chump.

What did democrats do to strengthen or even sustain any American industry?

This is all democrats war against America.

We don't need to fight foreign companies or governments, we have to fight democrats destruction of our industry

I think Biden invested hugely in green energy, for which Chump is either taking the credit or destroying the investment.

Would that have strengthened or sustained any American industry?

Democrats raise taxes and regulations hurting manufacturing. They want the capital gains tax raised and wealth taxed which hurts funding of business. Green energy cost too much and cant meet the demand of AI and server banks. That can shut down the entire country causing a massive power failure. They think they can mange the economy. Well how did that work out under Biden. 6.00 dollar gas 9% inflation.

Green energy is 100% failed. Green energy does not supply industry with electricity. Green energy comes from the chemical industry as well as 100% dependent on oil and gas.

California passed a carbon dioxide tax which dramatically raised prices across Anerica. California is the 6th largest economy in the world. Cakifornia's heavy taxes and bad Green energy policies hurt the entire country

Green energy will never meet the demand of AI and server banks which will cause an energy shortage catastrophe. Add RV cars to that. The entire nation will be shut down for months if we continue to build these unreliable high const energy systems. Trump was correct to stop the subsidies and build LNG Nuclear and fossil fuels. As Europe continues to build renewables manufacturing will be forced to leave and come here. Thats already happening
