Years ago I saw army trucks patrolling the streets in Mexico and I thought "thank goodness we don't have that in the US!" Now we do. Are we becoming a crueler country?

Years ago we didn't have to have army trucks patrolling the streets, because we didn't have so many illegal Mexicans.

Hope this helps. Now get off my lawn.

That is because the army down there runs the government.

and I thought "thank goodness we don't have that in the US!" Now we do. Are we becoming a crueler country?
No, just getting our ducks back in order after the Biden-sponsored criminal invasion of our country by 20 million illegals all waving Mexican flags throwing bricks and bullets at our LEO.

Why don't you get some friends together, go down to Mexico, storm a city yelling how you are taking the place over threatening officials while waving the American flag in their face then tell me how it all goes.

You still haven't figured out that they're using the entire illegal immigration issue as a pretext to bring about numerous authoritarian agendas that were the plan in the first place. Problem - Reaction - Solution.

Anyone who is OK with military vehicles patrolling the streets, and cheering all the other anti-freedom Orwellian policies in the works because of "the savages!" is being a useful idiot.

PS: Both parties have been used in different ways for this same outcome.

Oh my, then you should have seen Tim Walz during COVID. Go look that up, then come back and say America is cruel.

Wow. That was dumb.

It was lawlessness that led to a response of law enforcement. And the more violent and organized the lawlessness was, the more law enforcement was required.

We are waking up and becoming a smarter and safer nation.

Just say “thank you, Mr. President” and take a seat.

Progressive policies destroy nations.

Pretty sad really to see kids graduating school in the richest country in the world paying the most in taxes, yet still getting graduates who have not even yet learned from our schools the very first lesson that history teaches us...

On the very first day of civics class or geography, the very first lesson ought to be: Wherever socialism has been tried, it has utterly failed...

So here we are, full of Progressives trying to inflict progressive ideology on us, failing everywhere tried while destroying the country and still, they just don't get it...

Its not cruel to enforce the sovereignty of your country.

Every other country in the world does it.

It is used as a means to attempt to gain political power here.

You mean the borderless invasion by Biden for four years was a clandestine plan hatched between the democrats and republicans together for world domination? But to what end unless they also knew ahead of time that Trump would be president and rigged the election to put him in office!

If I'm being invaded by gangs of drug lords and criminals from another country waving Mexican flags taking over the community, I'm all for SWAT teams roaming the streets with M134s until they take out every last one of them.

What on God's green earth makes you think that is the military? Are you a moron? Did you come here just to prove that?

Number one, it's not military patrolling our streets.
Number two, years ago, you didn't see illegals flooding the streets in the US.
