Wrongly convicted? You mean to say that guilt being proven in a court of law by 12 peers (6 of them chosen by the defense) of existing laws that were in place way before Trump even became president and then first reviewed by a grand jury and found that they were laws and that there was sufficient reason to believe those laws had been broken by Trump, means wrongly convicted?
You do know that for the conviction to be undone, the defense has to prove that something was done wrong during the prosecution, and even if that is the case, it does not mean that Trump will be exonerated, right? All it means is that Trump would be tried again, not that he was innocent of the charges. You do understand that, don't you?

Going out on a limb? Those are great "words" but then again, words are free and anyone can say them at any time. I think it is you that does not understand.
1) Trump was found guilty by a jury of his peers
2) the laws that he broke were existing laws that had been there for decades
3) He is now a legally convicted felon
4) an appeal cannot grant any kind of a verdict where Trump is found innocent as the law clearly was followed (grand jury, judged by a court of peers, found guilty unanimously)
5) an appeal can only be made by saying that the prosecution did something wrong. That some evidence that should not have been presented as it was presented or that some evidence was not allowed to be presented. In all of those cases, it means that the prosecution would need to file again for another trial in which all of what was wrong can be corrected. Nonetheless, it does not mean that he is declared innocent. It just means that another trial will happen..........unless the prosecution themselves decides to not prosecute again (unlikely).
These are all facts and not are on a limb. If you know or see it otherwise, prove it!
