Jan. 6 was a protest that got out of hand. The fact that you can’t see this speaks volumes. There are many educated professionals who understand this. We condemn the actions of those that broke the law, but we have the ability to distinguish between a planned insurrection and spontaneous act of misplaced exuberance.

How was it not planned? Trump organized this protest and stoked the crazies up for three months by refusing to admit he lost the 2020 election by 8 million votes.

There are many educated and intelligent folks out there who didn’t fall for politically motivated narrative that it was an insurrection. My guess is you live somewhere that is somewhat insulated from conservative political thought.
