Makes perfect sense.

As the volume of migrants illegally crossing the southern border into the U.S. exceeded 2 million this fiscal year, a new poll finds that most registered voters approve of the decision by some Republican governors to send illegal immigrants to Democrat-run cities, and many see it as an effective way to draw attention to the immigration issue.

The CBS/YouGov survey found that 51% of registered voters approve of sending illegal immigrants to Democratic cities, compared to 49% who disapprove. Additionally, 88% of those who approve say it is an effective way of bringing attention to the issue of illegal immigration.

Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., recently flew 50 illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard, a famous vacation spot for the wealthy, angering many on the left. Within 48 hours of their arrival, Martha's Vineyard called in the National Guard and swiftly relocated all 50 migrants out of the beach town. Some Democrats called the GOP governor's move a form of "human trafficking."

I'm fine with it. They want to let them in the country then they should take care of them.

The best solution is sending them back home with a pamphlet in their language saying "come back once you complete the citizenship program".

You want to be a Christian nation, start acting like one.
We do by relocating them to safer, better places with greater opportunities
Dim bulb weepers like you think the issue ends when they illegally cross the border and plop down

There is nothing unChristian about sending people seeking sanctuary to a city that claims to be a sanctuary.

Yes, we help them by sending them to sanctuary cities. What exactly is wrong with that?

Republicans want to be Christian nation, better start of acting as one, for me I'm an atheist.

What I do find puzzling is how many late night hosts who mock southern states, characterize them as poor and other stereotypes.

These same southern states have been excessively overburdened with dealing with an issue defended by federal Establishment politicians in both parties. Ironically, the most wealthiest of locales in America decide that they are bankrupt on actual action to embrace these citizens, but quite rich in empty platitudes.

I support sending them to country of origin....then bill the country for expenses

Is it Christian for the Federal government to IGNORE border states who have been beggiung them for years to do something? Is it Christian for them to lie and say there is no problem? Is it Christian that the Government will not FIRST help to deal with tent cities of our own homeless population before they allow in 2 - 3 million a year who are going to need public assistance?

Sending 50 people on a few hours plane ride after they had probably traveled for months to cross the border is nothing. Why they had to be escorted away by the National Guard however, I dont really understand. do you? 50 people can be easily managed, given rooms for a while etc.

the only thing I can think of is that the good people in Marthas Vineyard wanted to make it perfectly clear MORE immigrants there are not welcomed... thus the National guard response.
