What happened at the Capitol was a VIOLENT CRIME which actually threatened our democracy. Saying that LE is "pursuing these rioters far more aggressively than normal" is nothing more than a misdirection and an attempt to minimize the severity of the offenses. I hope that they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law which is exactly the way I would feel if my home was invaded and I was assaulted in my home, and I wouldn't give a tinker's damn what the political persuasion was of the person who assaulted me.

Now, if you are a true law and order conservative, you should feel the same way about these rioters and would be insurrectionists, but instead, you think they should be handled with kid gloves as if they were little more than HS kids breaking curfew.

It was a violent crime. It is being pursued more aggressively than other similar violent crimes over the last 4 years.
