Correct. So any suggestion that Trump is keeping a lid on this because of his own name being sullied is pretty silly. Especially given that the Democrats in the Executive and in Congress had complete control of the Epstein Files and if there had been anything at all negative about the Bad Orange Man, it would have been leaked immediately.

And if it's not because of his own involvement, what else could it be?

I would guess that important allies of Trump and of the United States are in those files and on the client list, if it still exists.

But suppose every name on there was either an anti-Trump Democrat, or an anti-Trump Republican, and it amounted to two thirds of the House and Senate. Trump doesn't like those people, but he would know that outing most of the legislative branch would lead to mass resignations, wild card appointments by governors and infighting for the top jobs.

If Trump did release the list, and he was not on it, but enough lawmakers were to crash the Article I branch, who would the media blame for the chaos sure to follow?

What makes this an even bigger deal for people is that MANY voters have daughters. Everyone has a mother, many have sisters. Many know others who have been destroyed because they weren't rich and famous, often for criminal allegations FAR less incendiary than those being leveled against the now deceased Epstein and his friends.

Judging by the youtube comments, this isn't going to go away. That's just my take on it anyways. This won't go away because it's been in the public sphere for over a decade, movies and shows created about it. Based on the way he died, about the history and so many allegations, it has all the intrigue of an international crime story and much more.
