maybve you can lead the charge. Which branch of the military are you in Princess? Put it on YOUR credit card as well.oh thats right. They're trying to screw over the negotiations before they have a chance to work. Silly me.Repubs in Congress are "acting like spoiled children who are not getting their way." The Executive, State department, and ambassadors recieve foreign dignitaries Sugar ShortsThey have the right to do so.
Dems need to get over it. They are not longer running things.
They are acting like spoiled children who are not getting their way.
Yes to receive them but that is not what this is about.
Congress has the power to regulate commerce not only among the several states but also with “foreign nations.”
This is one of the powers Congress can use to establish (or end) trade sanctions against Iran, which is what Congress wants to hear from Netanyahu about.
Congress has plenty of authority to bring in Netanyahu — or anyone else — to talk about Iran. It doesn’t have to say so much as “boo” to the White House.
Get over it.
From the SOTU Address:
. - See more at: Obama vows to veto Iran sanctions-- but Congress invites Netanyahu for rebuttal speechOur diplomacy is at work with respect to Iran, where, for the first time in a decade, we’ve halted the progress of its nuclear program and reduced its stockpile of nuclear material. Between now and this spring, we have a chance to negotiate a comprehensive agreement that prevents a nuclear-armed Iran; secures America and our allies — including Israel; while avoiding yet another Middle East conflict. There are no guarantees that negotiations will succeed, and I keep all options on the table to prevent a nuclear Iran. But new sanctions passed by this Congress, at this moment in time, will all but guarantee that diplomacy fails — alienating America from its allies; and ensuring that Iran starts up its nuclear program again. It doesn’t make sense. That is why I will veto any new sanctions bill that threatens to undo this progress. The American people expect us to only go to war as a last resort, and I intend to stay true to that wisdom
Negotiations with Iran has never worked.
It didn't work under Carter and it won't work now.
Should Iran get a pass on explaining its nuclear past
