I hope Americans are paying attention, notice how easily and hypocritical U.S allies are? Ironically, it is this very type of chat that the entire world attacked Trump for when he accused Europe and Canada of doing the same. The self-hating U.S media and Establishment politicians agreed "Trump is offending our allies!" Macron pushed for the Paris Accord, an agreement stiffing the U.S taxpayers in particular of hundreds of billions.
Here is even more rich irony. During the G7 the year that famous picture was taken with Trump leaning back like a boss as Merkel and others surrounded him at the table, Trump told all of the G7, an open offer, "I am willing to get rid of all subsidies if you do the same, I mean it, we can do it today, will you agree"?
They all went oddly silent. Not only was he serious he also knew it would call the hypocrisy out. He knows the U.S innovation, efficiency and competitiveness is superior to the G7, outside of a few industries that Germany and Japan operate. None of them took the offer, because they use subsidies to pay back their donors and to undermine U.S and others markets.
So, here we are, the same people who say "green is good" are now shocked that Biden is funding his far-left donors with green subsidies. Tthey only feign "mutual interests". It's why I said the U.S should focus on liberty, justice and human rights as it creates a straight line of like-minded nations that citizens can get behind and forces the West to be better.
Oh, and by the way, I believe Macron just recently had a visit with Xi. I wonder what they discussed.
Media and America celebrate the global socialists, "Paris Accord" scam and far-left, now you see where it leads. In theory, I do agree with Macron about subsidies, however, the irony cannot be ignored.

French President Emmanuel Macron addressed US lawmakers from both political parties on Wednesday and pushed back over new American subsidies that are riling European leaders, according to a participant in a closed-door meeting.
