Even in the face of her own obvious mortgage fraud, this DEI attorney general - who has no business being an attorney at all - has just declared she will APPEAL the Appeal Court setting aside her vindictive, insane $500 million fine against Trump. How much more chutpzpah can this woman possibly have? There want even a victim!

She should consider herself lucky that she isn’t being disbarred for her prosecutorial misconduct driven by politics, and instead she is doubling down.

I hope she gets nailed to her own cross, would be poetic justice!

She's a corrupt, Demofascist.

Trying to board up her ass from an inbound civil suit I suspect.

Definitely. The judges who vacated the fine did so on civil rights grounds (8th amendment), so President Trump should definitely file a civil rights suit and refer it to the civil rights division of the DOJ for prosecution. James and Engoron, both.

She is totally obsessed with taking down Trump. She is the modern day Captain Ahab. This is beyond politics, she's a nut job. And besides it's just taxpayer money, why should she care?

NY state will pay for her lawyers, which is total bullshit.

She ran on "getting Trump" and got caught in her own trap, but the DOJ has better prosecutors than NY.

The First Department today affirmed the well-supported finding of the trial court: Donald Trump, his company, and two of his children are liable for fraud.

“The court upheld the injunctive relief we won, limiting Donald Trump and the Trump Organization officers’ ability to do business in New York. It should not be lost to history: yet another court has ruled that the president violated the law, and that our case has merit.

“We will seek appeal to the Court of Appeals and continue to protect the rights and interests of New Yorkers.”

Trump had a wrong number on a loan form, but no one lost any money, Deutchebank was happy with the loan terms.
The $500,000,000 fine was the real crime. Running on "getting Trump" was also a real crime.

Trump had a wrong number on a loan form
If I write that I make $1,000,000 every year instead of $500,000, is that putting "a wrong number"?

No.

Is that illegal if I make all the loan payments anyway?

Yes.

Do the standards apply to Trump?

Apparently not. He just gets to do whatever he wants.

Can she continue from a jail cell?

"Fraud" which didn't actually cost anyone else any money.
It was awful!
The nation barely survived.

Is the bank a giant institution that is able to confirm the numbers on the form?
