According to pollster Frank Luntz and his famous “undecided focus group” extravaganzas he holds after every debate, American voters aren’t nearly as worked up about Donald Trump’s tax returns as the media and Clinton campaign appear to be. In fact, according to Luntz’ appearance on CBS Wednesday, voters might be interested in getting tax tips from the GOP nominee:

“Nobody wants to pay taxes. As long as you don’t break the law, as long as you didn’t do anything unethical, tax payers are fed up with the tax code and they actually did not hold him responsible for that. What they don’t like is how his employees were treated. The goal for the average American is to find some way to reduce their taxes.”

Luntz also noted that the undecided voters “are more upset over Hillary Clinton’s emails than they are about Trump’s tax returns,” and he added “that email issue is going to continue, I think, into the next two debates.”

This cuts against what the media and the debate moderators have een focusing on. Lester Holt made absolutely no reference during last weeks debate to Hillary Clinton’s use of an unauthorized, non-secure, non-government email server to conduct her official business while Secretary of State. He did initiate a laborious exchange over Trump’s tax returns, though.

If the media and debate moderators really want to get these candidates to talk about issues the American voter cares about, they’d start probing deeper into the email issue.

Don’t hold your breath.

Paper copies in boxes? Years to deliver? Absolute joke. FBI should have siezed all computers involved Day 1. They gave them time to bleach, sort, print and hammer. Somebody needs to be doing time.

Comey's answer to this was to give anyone who could be charged immunity and then the FBI destroyed the computers they seized from them.. What a DEAL.. No way to look over the evidence by anyone else including the house oversight committee.

Now why would Comey destroy federal records, required by statute, to be retained?

The stench is so bad its making me sick...

They are not even in the same solar system in terms of importance and consequences to the American public. Hillary is a criminal. Trump legally followed the Federal Tax Code. Hillary Clinton used the EXACT same deduction to reduce her taxes as well.

Wow. Normal people.

What a refreshing change from the usual screaming liberal fanatics who hate everything Trump, no matter how legal and common.

I just hope President Trump will be ordering orange jumpsuits and silver bracelets for those involved in this criminal fiasco.

Considering Trump didn't break the law why be worked up? Hillary on the other hand....

Was it Comey or Lynch who ordered the computers destroyed? That is the 64 million dollar question... They Violated FEDERAL LAW IN DOING SO!
Funny thing is, FBI only got the equipment not "lost" or "hammered" by hillary goons. Then the FBI busted up that evidence too? what's left? Stems and seeds?

A Trump supporter is not worked up about Trump not paying Federal Income taxes for 18 years--the overwhelming majority are. Especially when he constantly brags about his wealth. The average John & Jane Doe get up, go to work, bust butt and pay Federal Income taxes, and they're not going to vote for any nominee that doesn't do the same.

Half the country doesn't want him anywhere near the button, the other half don't want him anywhere near the U.S. Treasury.

Trump obeyed the law regarding his taxes....Hillary broke the law with her emails and as revealed in her emails.

For this election, where one candidate is an irrational, racist demagogue, who is mind numbingly incompetent and scary, the “undecided” voter is a rare person, and is too stupid to know that there is no equivalency, whatsoever, between Clinton and Trump.

Ergo, they are already heavily leaning toward Trump.

Trump has literally broken the law, and he has had to pay fines as a result.

Hillary literally has broken no laws and has paid no fines and has not been convicted of anything — not even jaywalking.

Libs are squaling lie a stuck pig because Trump paid no taxes because his ACCOUNTANT followed the law when completing Trump's taxes. They have claimed obeying the tax code is 'criminal' yet DEFENDED AND JUSTIFIED tax fraud reprat offender Charlie Rangel, who writes the tax code, broke tax law multiple times.

Trump paid fines? Repeat offender / criminal Rangel never faced criminal charges, never had to pay a dime in fines, never paid interest on the millions he failed to claim/pay in taxes, never paid a late fee AND was allowed to stay in Congress!

Funny, I never heard you or other libs condemn Rangel, demand he be removed from office, or that he be punished.

Finny how 'you' libs defended Obama's 'parade' of tax-evading Cabinet nominees, to include a tax evader who was confirmed as his Secretary of the TREASURY. (A tax cheat/evader as Treasurer....only liberals/Barry!)
