Okay, basic biology.

Once you are pregnant, you are delivering a baby one way or another. If the practitioner kills the baby inside you it's an abortion. If not, it's a "delivery", or so they call it. But one way or another, the baby is coming out. If not, a life-threatening infection sets in.

One of the most harrowing stories of pregnancy are women who suffer a stillborn baby late in pg and then walk around for a day or two before their deliveries can be scheduled. They then must go through the entire labor process to deliver what they know is a dead baby. Tragically, these things happen.
