Louisiana making America moral again

Judeo-Christian isn't a religion. The Ten Commandments represents the principle of universal moral standards (natural laws) upon which our nation was founded.

It is a combination of two religions. Both Christianity and Judaism are represented by the 10 Commandments.

Our nation was not founded on the 10 Commandments. The first 4 commandments are about the religion. It is certainly not secular.

Here are the first 5 commandments:
  1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
  2. You shall make no idols.
  3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
  4. Keep the Sabbath day holy.
  5. Honor your father and your mother.

That is half of the commandments. Not a single one of those was the foundation for our country.

Well it's a step in the right direction. It takes one state doing this to get the ball rolling. Hopefully Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas will follow the lead of Louisiana.

---Louisiana lawmakers are getting close to passing a bill that would require public schools to display the Ten Commandments on school property---

And how will this law make any difference whatsoever? :dunno:

That is not what I said:

Natural laws come from a higher authority than government, and include inalienable rights as well as responsibilities.
