Lots of Snow Along the Gulf of America Coast

I see your point but 8 inches of snow should cause zero problems for any place. Any place. I mean any place.

And you're a ******* idiot. 8 inches of snow turns into ice on concrete. Without any way of clearing the ice, roads become impassable. New Orleans got twice as much snow in one morning as Anchorage Alaska has had since December.

Is this storm from thr gulf of Mexico or did it come from the northwest?

It came out of the gulf. The cold air came down from the north, and hit a pile of moisture coming out of the gulf. We always get rain from the gulf, and we sometimes get a polar vortex, but this time they both arrived at the same time. That's literally never happened in 130 years.

The stunning thing is that this is not just an inch or two. This is serious snow, with no means to remove it. Yikes.

I just literally heard about this and I thought that it was a joke at first. It sounds like they're getting snowplows from other states.

The Gulf of Mexico produces alot of moisture. Its all a matter of cold air sinking south far enough.
