Trump Today: President wants to award Devin Nunes a medal as he continues attack against Jerome Powell

President Donald Trump suggested honoring Rep. Devin Nunes on Thursday, as he said he wouldn’t fire Fed Chairman Jerome Powell and had a freewheeling meeting with rapper Kanye West.

Trump fielded questions from “Fox & Friends” Thursday morning and said of the Russia investigation, “if this turns out as everyone thinks it will, Devin Nunes should get the Medal of Honor.” Later in the interview Trump said it was the Medal of Freedom Nunes should get.

In the interview Trump also kept up his criticism of the Federal Reserve for raising interest rates, calling the central bank “too cute.” The Fed hiked rates last month for the third time this year.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Funny stuff: Trump wants to award Devin Nunes while Trump continues to attack FED Chairman Jerome Powell.

I guess Trump is losing confidence in his own attacks on Chairman Powell. :206:

Kanye West is very important too. Maybe he could take Mitch McConnell's place as Senate Majority Leader.

The BEST thing Trump EVER did as an 'entertainer' was on 'The Apprentice' when he would say, "YOU'RE FIRED." :21: Trump is really good at 'firing' the people he hires but Trump doesn't seem too good at vetting those he hires.

What a jackass.

Hopefully Trump will just take a page out of JFK and Lincoln's book and have the Treasury and Congress coin their own currency. Y'know? Like it is authorized in the constitution?

Fuck the FED. Send in the marshals and arrest those crooks.

5 SCOTUS judges and a few Fed governors have the ability to fuck over 300 million Americans

Funny you mention not only Lincoln but then go on to mention JFK too; look how they both ended up.

AFA the FED, I'm no fan but that is what we have to work with since what, around 1913, or so?

Is it constructive in any manner for any POTUS to constantly attack the FED?
Trump nominated Powell; maybe Trump can tell Powell, "you're fired."

From what I have read a majority of Republicans at the time were on board for the Aldrich Plan, which with some tweaking become the FRA of 1913.
ALL Democrat Senators voted for the FRA of 1913 & all but four Republican Senators voted for it.

I do find it strange that the US Federal Income Tax was also passed into law in 1913.

I have said for MANY YEARS that both the Dems & the Reps have got US into this fvcked up mess.

Bingo. There is hope for you.

Very true.

The Dems & the Reps are just two different sides of the very same fvcked up coin.

According to law, he had to nominate someone, and by that, someone that the establishment would say, "okay" to. He probably thought this guy would be loyal to his vision, but the truth is, there was probably nobody on the planet that the establishment would confirm that would be more loyal to the small businesses and working folks rather than the global money changers.

Yeah, there are all sorts of "coincidences" what we could talk about it, but then this thread will just land in the conspiracy zone. You're a bit obtuse if you think it is all coincidence.

But I don't really think it is a coincidence that Tax day is the same day the Titanic went down. Those folks love to rub that shit in our face.

In my book, I think there is ample evidence neither the FED nor the Federal Income Tax would have been passed if John Jacob Astor IV, Benjamin Guggenheim and Isidor Straus hadn't all been murdered.

And the folks that voted for those Amendments? Who cares. Look to the research on how they were passed by the various states and when those votes took place.

It's about as corrupt as the corruption of the Democrats screwing Bernie or creating and false paradigm and using the intel agencies to try to mess with Trump.

We are the most sophisticated banana republic on the planet.

And you would replace the FED with?
`
Good question. If the fed were managed "for the greater good," rather than the enrichment of too-big-to-fail banks and certain European banking families, then getting rid of it would not be an option. But it is corrupt as I see it. What to replace it with? I don't know.

I agree; we do have our ways of telling the rest of the planet that our shit don't smell, even tho' it does stink.

You don't replace it with anything.

For long periods of time we never had a central bank.

Competition for interest rates make the whole place better.

Why should we have socialism for the rich but not the poor?
