Liberal media largely give Biden a pass for claim COVID gets solved at state level after scolding Trump

The mainstream media appears to largley giving President Biden a pass for attempting to pass COVID-19 responsibilities to states after scolding former President Trump at every turn.

Now that Biden said the same thing Trump did, are they both correct or are they both wrong? I can’t tell given the silence from the liberal media.
