Giancarlo Stanton hit one over 500 feet at Coors field a few years ago, and a fellow named Joey Meyer hit one even longer there once.

We saw it on Sportscenter. How can anyone be expected to watch every bat of every inning in the regular season? I bet 99% of us missed it.

Meh...I enjoyed watching Jeremy Pena the rookie who replaced cry baby Correra hit a walkoff homerun to center field in the 10th inning for the win over the Blue Jays.

The Cubs Were Always a One-Man Show

That at-bat reminds me of when Dave Kingman was with the Cubs. The tension on every pitch was incredible, and it never surprised me when King Kong hit it over the wall.

Good call. Once I happened to be walking my dog near a baseball field. Saw a guy hit a homer. For some reason stuck around. He hit another. Then another. Or maybe when I walked up he had already hit a couple. It’s been awhile. He hit 5 homers. So cool.
