Yes; you can do the same with a Constitutional Monarchy aka The UK, Australia, NZ and a few other solid examples. I am TOTALLY AGAINST ABSOLUTE MONARCHIES. The only real power I want from a Monarch is to be able to send a Government to an election by the people mid-term if that Gov is as dumb as dogshit.

I watched NBC Nightly News this evening , and not a whisper about what is going on in Iran.
The libs seem to want to hide this. NBC gabbed a lot about the weather and some fire in Switzerland. Things that are better done on local news, or have no real effect on history.

This is potentially a much bigger story than Venezuela. Iran's sphere of influence is enormous. Venezuela can impact the world oil market significantly over time, but otherwise its impact would be quite limited. Who can even guess what happens next in Iran?

Iran has a king for its entire 2500 year history, having a shah is part of the history and culture of Iranians. The previous shah was ousted because he became the leader of opec and decided to raise the price of oil during a time of worldwide depression.
