lol @ Right-wing boycott attempts

How did that Chik-fil-A boycott go?
We got everything we wanted so it went pretty great

So the contributions went from coming from the corporation, to coming from the owners as individuals.

Yes, "victory"
Yes. A loud and clear one. Though the real victory came a couple years later when gay marriage became the law of the land

Nice attempt at claiming a "win", but the failed boycott had nothing to do with that.

And it figures your side always has to go to the least democratic part of our system for their "wins"
The boycott ended when Chick-Fil-A stopped donating to anti-gay organizations and the owner declared his stance a mistake.

I just had Chick-Fil-A yesterday, it was delicious

Ended? it never got off the ground, you loons bawled, tried to boycott and Chik Fil La had a record sales day.

Idiots

I guarantee his money and his families money is still going to the exact same groups.

So your side won nothing.
We won the public acknowledgement of Chick-Fil-A declaring their stance a mistake, ceasing all donations to anti-gay hate groups, and then, of course, won the right for gay people to marry. Speaking of, has their right to marry destroyed your marriage yet?

Anyways, the Cathy family is free to throw their money away however they want, including donating to a cause that's already been decided.

They failed miserably with Starbucks and Cheerios. Now they're going after Kellogg's:

Breitbart urges boycott of Kellogg’s after cereal maker pulls ads

Here's the thing. When your base is made up primarily of barefoot, shitkicking retards who live in trailers, you won't make much of a dent with a financial boycott. It's why NC is getting stung so bad economically for its bathroom bill, and it's why Starbucks and Cheerios and now Kellogg's will probably see an INCREASE in sales thanks to the breitbart proposed boycott.
Go get a pat on your back and cookie for the stereotypes that a ******* dipshit, cocksucking, arrogant, intolerant, ignorant, mindless puppet, shit sack, hypocrital comments you made.

No really. Go swallow turpentine or something.

All of us would have been better off if you were flushed or swallowed.

And they continued to have the same view, and supported the same things, but in a different way.

And I have never claimed SSM would destroy my marriage, my point has always been using courts to create rights out of thin air allows the same courts to ignore rights if they so choose.

Plus it results not in a clauswitizian victory for one side or the other, but in a continuation of the conflict. Roe has been around for 40 years and the issue is still not settled.

Target, Disney and Coke too.

Target lost a lot of money. Were we supposed to be boycotting Disney or coke for some reason? I hadn't heard

Cool, frankly it's simply amazing that you managed to accomplish all that while sitting on your fat ass posting useless nonsense on Internet Message Boards.

... just imagine what you'd be able to achieve if you actually DID something.

The "boycott" was a joke. But keep claiming some hollow victory....I understand seeing how victories have been scarce for the left for sometime now.

Think about it

The boycott accomplished exactly what it set out to. And the victory I celebrate is the gay marriage ruling, not the Chick-Fil-A cave-in. I just like to point it out when you rubes bring it up.

It isn't make pretend. It is a legal marriage with all the legally binding factors as any marriage.

Target is still there...and yes there was a RW boycott of Disney and Coke for a very long time.....maybe you didn't hear about it because it didn't work: CNN - Southern Baptists vote for Disney boycott - June 18, 1997 and the Coca Cola boycott was over their Super Bowl ad.

Yes Target's stock is now higher than it was in January

I refused to shop at Walmart for three years because I kept getting defective merchandise---like just about every time and it's an hour's drive away to return it.
Never made a dent in their sales; probably hasn't improved their merchandise, either..
Boycotts really aren't very effective. They just make us feel better.
I'll be damned if I would give up corn flakes OR Cheerios. Breakfast should not be politicized.
