Kinda Funny. I was watching that show also. I sure didn't see it the way you did.

What O'Reilly said was that taxes were going to go up all across this country. State, Federal and local. I think Alan Colmes thought he meant it was Obama who would raise all taxes. Colmes immediatly corrected O'Reilly. Bill agreed with him. Obama didn't have anything to do with State and Local taxes. Jeeze. Nothing like trying to make a mountain out of a molehill doncha know??

Taxes are taxes and if this bs clusterfuck of a bill goes through. We will all be paying more taxes. Won't matter whether its Federal, State or Local.

That is EXACTLY how it happened. Oreilly is not some dolt....he knows the rights of individual states and the role the fed can play as it pertains to state taxes....

I think EVERYBODY's laughing at O'Reilly lately. What's amusing me is that he's just now figuring out that Barack Obama is a freaking Socialist.

Rush did a little parody last week. Bill was in full tail-tuck mode Monday night, asked both Newt Gingrich and Brit Hume... "Is Obama a socialist?, fully expecting them to say 'no', but got surprised. Brit was nice about it of course, and Newt was uh... more direct , but both disabused him of the idea that Barack's not socialist.

I know I've been laughing at him, and feeling disgusted at the same time. I mean what is it? Is O'Reilly afraid of being labeled a racist or have the executives at FOX suggested he remain neutral because they already have two bomb-throwers ... Hannity and Beck. If it wasn't for the guests he has on his show, I probably wouldn't watch anymore. Personally, my fovorite lately has been Special Report with Bret Bair.

Every time O'Reilly did a little segment on his Bold & Fresh tour with Beck, I had to leave the room. I could not sit there and watch clips of O'Reilly on stage trying to be funny, surrounded by his massive ego.

I was just talking with a co-worker of mine and he said something similar to what you said. It may be that he wants more interviews, so he's kissing ass and trying to look neutral. Pft! Whatever!!!
