Live link to JACK SMITH testifying to Congress about Trump prosecutions (10am Eastern)

Not true, at all, I have heard him speak plenty of times. Yes, it's very hard for me to believe anything he says, since he's lied so much over the years,...he has very little credibilty
Making stuff up again I see

Can you list ANY lie told by Jack Smith?

Trump supporters will see a completely different hearing than normal people will.

Dear Leader is stone cold terrified of Jack Smith, and has twice attempted to use his corrupt FBI appointees to perpetrate lawfare against Smith.

It didn't work.

Now Trump's lickspittles in Congress have gagged and bound Smith from talking about the high treason Trump committed when he obstructed the National Archives from retrieving the documents he stashed all over Mar-A-Lago, which were accessible to the thousands of visitors there.

Trump has used his completely unqualified judge, Aileen Cannon, to keep Smith from releasing his report about that whole treasonous affair.

However, Cannon's order expires on February 24, at which time Smith is free to release his report.

Trump's lawyer has admitted Smith's report will “irreparably harm President Trump" and is doing all he can to prevent that report from ever seeing the light of day.

Irrepable harm? I don't think so. It's not like his cult is going to read it, or watch today's testimony.

As always, the cult will wait for their propagandists to tell them what to bleev and parrot. They dare not watch or read for themselves. Are you kidding me? Even Trump's own "Truth" Social posts are growing too long for their stunted attention spans. :laughing0301:

As for today's testimony, Trump's bootlickers tried to keep this all behind closed doors, but Smith demanded an open hearing. Don't let anyone ever tell you Republicans and the Trump Swamp are all about transparency.

But here's the thing.

Jack Smith telling Congress that Donald Trump's months-long, non-stop streaming of his Big Lie is the one and only reason there was an insurrection on January 6 is the greatest gold medal "WELL, DUH, CAPTAIN OBVIOUS" moment in history. Every terrorist was there that day on his behalf to obliterate our bragging rights to a centuries long tradition of the peaceful transition of power.

It's really ******* sad that actually has to be read into the record. It's really ******* sad that the propagandists who knew Trump lost FOR A FACT, aided and abetted this high treason because they knew their mentally hobbled viewers can't handle the truth.

Yes, that Bob McDonnell was a criminal. It was a huge lie.

Not to mention the entire Trump indictment

The Democrats on the committee are in full CYA mode 100% and that hampers their reactions to the GOP hits

Brandon Gill ABSOLUTELY ******* DESTROYED SMITH.

What the hell does timing of Republicans getting sworn in have to do with the simple fact that investigators OF COURSE had a right to investigate who Trump was on the phone with around Jan 6th as part of the Jan6th criminal investigation?

Nothing. Just because they are Senators doesn't mean their phone records can't be investigated. Prosecutors followed the law on obtaining the records and not a single thing said at this hearing refuted that.

The new SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE, MCARTHY, WAS A FLIGHT RISK, SO THE SPYING HAD TO BE KEPT A SECRET.

😂 😂 😂

Bullshit gotcha games.

The nondisclosure order from the court said that there were "reasonable grounds to believe that such disclosure will result in flight from prosecution, destruction of or tampering with evidence, intimidation of potential witnesses, and serious jeopardy to the investigation."

"Was Speaker McCarthy a flight risk?" Gill asked.

"He was not," Smith replied.

"He was not. Then why does your nondisclosure order refer to him as a flight risk?" Gill said.

After some back and forth, Smith answered: "With respect to a nondisclosure order, the risks aren't necessarily associated with the subscriber to the phone. The risks are to the investigation."

Flight from prosecution doesn't nescessarily mean physically running off, it means taking steps to obstruct investigators.

haha yeah where was the SPeaker of the House going to flee to?

Again, fleeing prosecution doesn't nescessarily mean physically running off.

These are not serious objections.

Wtf? The fascism of investigating a crime and bringing charges in the court of law?
What crime??? What crime did the Speaker of the House commit? Where was he fleeing to?

What court of law found a crime at all?

This was all lawfare to undermine the Speaker of the House, and harm the guy running for office against Jack Smith's boss.

Jack Smith, is a fascist

what do you think it means?

I mean, it literally means physically running off to avoid prosecution...physically leaving the jurisidiction. Do you think you can just make things up now?

Fleeing prosecution means leaving a jurisdiction to avoid facing criminal charges, often by crossing state or national borders, which creates a fugitive from justice status, leading to arrest warrants, extradition requests, and the suspension of statutes of limitations, with federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1073) specifically addressing "Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution" (UFAP). It's a serious offense that can result in harsher penalties, with law enforcement actively pursuing fugitives, sometimes using bounty hunters, and courts treating such actions severely.
