I'm guessing she was led astray there... Her text was probably a cut and paste from some web site.

I do use cut and paste from time to time... would it be more credible if it was from me directly?

Just cite where you get stuff from. It looked like you were citing from the bible because what you posted had bible citations, but the person you cut and paste from made stuff up about what the bible states. Or you did... you pick.

Where do you get off claiming priority should be on humans over the animals? Stewardship of animals does not mean make yourself the priority over all else.

I am confused as to how these two are related. On the one hand, the killing of the lion was a pretty disgusting act. I say that as a hunter. On the other hand, Planned Parenthood provides a number of services, and only one of those is objectionable to some people. They do a lot of good for women who would be forced to do without if not for them (mainly for financial reasons).

The problem with you're argument is you are treating this as a zero-sum equation. As if there is not enough compassion. mercy or resources to help both people who need help and animals for whom we owe an ethical responsibility as their caretakers and the caretakers of this planet.

Sorry, this isn't the 19th century...any hospital or medical practice or county health dept. could do what they do.....and they already get tax money for regular services........

Because I've had extremely intelligent pets that have expressed their feelings on numerous occasions. They show love, happiness, sadness... They even show superior intelligence, as compared to some humans.

Does that mean they have souls.....? We won't know till we die anyway.....

Only God can say, but, the Bible outlines how HUMANS ONLY can have everlasting life.
God is just, so, why would he "save" all animals, but, save only certain humans?

Maybe he only focused on us because we had to deal with free will...and he takes care of the animals...like I said, we can ask him when we cross over....
