Blue Nun used to be available here in my part of Washington State, but haven't see it for a few years now.
It is a sweet white, but not too sweet. Similar to some Rieslings.
May be cheap in price but not in taste or quality, IMO.

More likely a case of much more competition in the wine market.
I drank this wine when in Germany. It is a light white wine. It is not expensive in Germany. I liked it a lot at the time.

I always thought of it translated as "Little Mother's Milk".
