The cop that stopped them for speeding was not concerned, but another cop came in and made a commotion to the first cop that these guys were gangs, and all kinds of shit....that cop making the stink, was a bad cop and fired by the police dept later on for illegal things the cop did... might be in jail still... During the stop, the good cop never felt concern and did not even press any charges for Garcia driving without a valid licence...if the good cop was concerned with the safety of anyone because they were gang members, he could have done so, or even used the invalid licence as a means to haul him and others in....

The last judge reviewing the Garcia case did not deny him asylum because he was part of a gang, the judge denied him because he applied for asylum after a strict cut off deadline, of which judges were restricted from doing anything on asylum under a new immigration reform law.

The judge did do what they could, based on the evidence presented by Garcia of fear of harm or death, which was giving the court order for protection, that Garcia could not be deported back to ElSalvador, without another hearing with the govt and Garcia to request the court remove this court ordered protection for his safety.

Trump admin defied the court order, and subsequent Supreme court decision to facilitate with ElSalvador, Garcia's return and his legal due process given.
