No bills yet, but the fact that Trump is meeting with business to lay out his plans and finding out what business needs to begin hiring speaks volumes. He as also negotiated with manufacturing to inquire into reopening old businesses and/or building new plants. His efforts to reduce taxes to bring business and capital back into the U.S. is also causing excitement in the business sector and the stock market is responding. With the rebund in Wall Street there is increased capital to business for expansion and hiring. Add to that the efforts to remove the oppressive burdens of Obamacare has begun to spur growth.

The past 8 years, Obama's war on business has caused much of the problems for the economy. Which is most likely the cause for Obama being the first President in history the did not preside over at least a single year of 3% growth.

And lastly, I am curious to know the differences between the types of jobs created by Obama and Trump. For Obama, a vast number of his jobs were non-skilled position in the service industry that were part-time.. I am hopeful that more of jobs being created/filled under Trump are, at the very least, full-time semi-skilled or skill level positions. But we won't know that for several months yet.

As to this job growth, it is dubious that having done EXACTLY NOTHING thus far Trump has any significant impact on the job numbers. He inherited an economy in solid condition, that's the underlying basics here. Underlying basics for Obama's early tenure was a Great Recession in full swing.
