Liberals Warnings from 2005

Social security and medicare have helped how many untold millions of americans. Two great programs that have contributed to our greatness. No need to cut them.

How do we fund them going forward?
Thats up to the "so called" elected experts to figure out. Having people remain in the workforce longer will devastate the economy. That is an established fact when it's so very easy to find workers as it is now.

Having people remain in the workforce longer will devastate the economy.

Why? Many older workers are very productive.

You want to lose their production and somehow pay them even longer for not working?

You're making even less sense than you usually do.

Yep. Those higher paying jobs can then be replaced easily by new workers.

If every worker retired at 55, imagine how younger workers would be able to take those openings and make higher pay earlier in their careers. Today's young workers are basically overproductive.

Imagine the extra expense placed on those younger workers to pay for an extra 7 years, at least, of Social Security benefits to those now retired workers.

Today's young workers are basically overproductive.

Dude!
