Well, it will be 5-4 soon for the preservation of the Constitution. 5-4 because Roberts is a liberal.

I notice none of these Senators is arguing that Obamacare is Constitutional. They know it is not.

Moscow Mitch was the one who changed the rule to allow SC justices to be confirmed by a simple majority.

That's okay the Constitution provides various means to rectify the situation.
Your dusty old document written by old, dead, white slave owners isn't going to save you now.

Take your nasty-tasting medicine and swallow it down.

But it will, for within it are the seeds of rebirth, the means for non-violent(mostly) change, elections and amendments.

Blame Mitch McConnell

Our judicial system appointments were working just fine with most judges getting bipartisan confirmation.

Mitch invoked a filibuster on every appointment and blocked Democrats from filling court seats.

Dems threatened to end the practice of filibuster on lower seats if he did not stop abusing it.

Mitch forced their hand

Yup. This one is on the Republicans. No question. The Dems weren't the one's who denied a hearing to a nominee or denied a president his right to fill a vacancy for purely political reasons. All this other crap they're throwing in? It's just flailing for the moral highroad, washed away in their power grab flood.
Bork
Nope.

Who filled that vacancy?

Refusing to vote to confirm is different (Harriet Myers was another who didn't make the cut, and that from both parties) - from refusing to even hold a hearing on a bogus claim 9 months was too close to an election...
Bork was qualified. For the love of God, if Kagen and Sotomayer were qualified, then he was qualified.
Not bringing an issue to a vote in the Senate seemed to be common with Harry. Well, it came back to bite back.

Why was Gorsuch not qualified by Kegan and Sotomayor qualified for SCOTUS? Specifically.

Almost as pathetic as your attack against the VP's son. Almost.

But I'm thinking, I'm thinking, you're the one that killed Kenny!

You bastard!

I remember warning democrats that they would regret that. They do anything and support anything that benefits them at the time. The average Democrat is extremely short sighted and ignorant

Extremely

Harry Reid wanted to install partisan hacks to the court.

They couldn't nominate a judge that could get 10 republicans. If they came to the middle a little bit they probably could have gotten 10 republicans for a moderate judge.

If you believe Democrat propaganda like this you are an idiot.

We all remember this. He rolled the dice and crapped out. If it was still 60 votes to confirm a judge, none of Trump’s judges would have been confirmed. THAT SHIT IS ON THE DEMS. THOSE ASSHOLES CHANGED THE RULES.

And I would caution you to remember (in light of the possible switch of power in one week) that what goes around, comes around.
How many of Trump's judges were missing vetting paperwork or approvals? How many of them were flat out unqualified to be judges?
Be careful what you wish for here. The shoe may be on the other foot shortly.

It's zero you stupid fuck

Whoever gets the credit,

You deviants have lost the ability to push abhorrent behavior into mainstream law by using the Supreme Court instead of Congress.
YOU LOSE!

Having Barrett shoved down their throats might be a wake up call for liberals to push for change beginning at the State and local level. Then liberals can push for amendments to put more constitutional checks on the authoritarian bent of the Banana Republicans, or any party thereafter who wants to follow in their footsteps.

Progs are what progs are. Reid is an example of a despot. You can actually see the evil in him. Every judge...pure prog. And a general population buying into it.

They really have a tough time dealing in facts and truth.

The corruption of the Congressional Dems is just amazing.

Liberals once thought that pointing out corruption in Government was a good thing.
Today you are totally for corruption as long as it involves Dems.
The fact that Biden used his son as the drop man shouldn't make Joe immune from consequences, or should it?

So you see the hypocrisy of the Senate Dems in the Gorsuch confirmation over Kegan and Sotomayor. You wont address is because you know they are corrupt and Gorsuch was qualified,
