And this is the real issue isn't it? Democrats are frantically trying to shut down DOGE or discredit it to the point the people won't trust it. They don't want the American people to know the awful truths of the indefensible ways they have been spending the people's money. They don't want corruption exposed because all too often it points back at them.

The GOP by and large is applauding and defending the effort, however, that suggests they are far less worried that any malfeasance that is exposed will implicate them.

Honest people understand and promote a good housecleaning in government that exposes the waste, ineffectiveness, inefficiency, incompetence and yes fraud and eliminates as much of that as is reasonably possible.
