and sooooo, this means what to me? do the g20 "protestors" have a designated crew, did they put up a bond? whats your point? saying anything to take the focus of off your comrades?
Wait a minute. Time out. I live in Pittsburgh and due to that, I have seen much closer, local media coverage of this event. The three local papers (Post Gazette, Tribune Review, and the Beaver Valley Times have written great pieces on the protests.
You should understand that the violence that occurred yesterday in the Lawrenceville neighborhood was wrought by one group: the Anarchists. The vast majority of the protesters were peaceful, legally assembled and respectful of the neighborhood. Only when the Anarchists crashed the scene were windows broken.
At the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus last night, the police once again were forced to fire tear gas and rubber bullets. Students from Pitt were gathered, again peacefully and respectfully near the entrance to Phipps Conservatory in the Oakland section of town. They were there to get a glimps of the motorcades bearing the world leaders. Again, the Anarchists crashed the scene.
Don't be so quick to condemn all the protesters or even the bystanders. Anarchists are not Liberals. They are, well, Anarchists. Drawing a parallel between Liberals and Anarchists shows not a lot of study with a political lexicon. Try again.
