Liberal Logic

I see it differently. MAGA rejects data and embraces feelings.

Unemployment is down, but MAGA says it doesnt “feel like it’s down”.

Inflation is down, but MAGA says it doesn’t “feel like it’s down”.

Violent crime is down but MAGA says it doesn’t “feel like it’s down.
Who says that? I think you need to get out and meet some real people.

If you can’t speak with specificity and accuracy, you’re not having an adult conversation.
What happened to you the other day, off the meds again?

Okay. And? It’s still an economic calamity that Biden had to deal with.
The spin never stops. The "calamity" of which you speak resulted in temporary closures of businesses and thus higher temporary unemployment. That is a rather unique phenomenon. Once these businesses reopened, viola, problem fixed. I'm not sure why you choose to remain so obtuse.

“Temporary business closures”

Surely you aren’t assuming that there were no business failures as a result of the pandemic, right?

Sure, but the decrease in unemployment can absolutely be attributed to businesses reopening. You know that.

Your indoctrination really impairs your logic.

Why would it come back to pre-pandemic levels if lots of businesses failed because of COVID? It wouldn’t. If all we saw was the effect of businesses reopening, unemployment would have remained higher than we saw.

You have some deluded idea that the effects of COVID were only temporary. That’s totally illogical.

Consumers were flush with cash they were given but couldn't spend. They were eager to do so. New businesses were bound to open to service the higher demand and those businesses that did reopen hired even more employees.

Only temporarily. That money was gone pretty quickly, chewed up by inflation among other things.

At which point interest rates increased a lot and inflation came down.

And somehow we didn’t see a recession, which is a minor miracle.

But Biden doesn’t deserve any credit. Gotcha.

explain each wrong or shut the pie hole!
He is wrong about everything. That's a self-explanatory comment and I don't have to explain shit to people who never explain things when they are asked. Nor do I have to explain anything to you because you chose to believe a bunch of bs that's wrong. I'm not going play the right-wing game of make the Iberal explain everything while I can spew factless nonsense freely and don't have to explain it.

Wouldn't it be more correct to admit you can't explain?

Just say that you can't, it's cool, we knew you couldn't. You are an ignorant, feckless, racist fool.

Right, people got used to spending more than they had which is why credit card balances have gone up so much.
Credit card debt goes up most of the time. It went up under Trump too. None of you said it was the end of the world then.

It’s often a sign of economic confidence. If they thought a recession was coming, they’d cut back on spending.

You’ve been predicting a recession for years and it never happened. Kind of embarrassing if you ask me. The fact that we brought inflation under control without a recession is a minor miracle and not what conservatives were predicting.

We were ridiculed for talking about a soft landing.

You're also ridiculed for saying that inflation was transitory, and rightly so.
