Emanuel NUKES the Democratic Party

Perhaps they are not communists. I wonder what our new national flag will look like when you guys take over.

Rahm is a progressive dressed up in centrist drag.
He is a slimy leftist who was Obama's chief of staff.

This is his most famous quote. Can you trust this man?

Working toward dressing up in centrist rag. He's not there yet.

Like I said, "Not sure I can be convinced, he is it." I have no real problem with progressive, depending on what definition of progressive is. But, though I have not followed him, I kind of thought he might be part of that "far left" that I will not support. But, whatever. It will take much more than an appearance on Bill's show to convince me or most other people, though better option than Newsom, definitely.

I'd like to see the Republicans come up with a centrist. It needs to be somebody that actually supports the Constitution, the rule of law, and making sure federal officers support the Constitution and rule of law. Needs to be somebody that respects allies, does not take it upon themselves to throw tariffs simply as bargaining chips to force some other policy unrelated to trade. Needs to be somebody not in Putin's pocket, or supporting foreign thugs, dictators and strongmen. Somebody not drunk on thinking the US military is his own private army to start wars on a whim, we have to pay for instead of serving the needs of our country. Oh, and they must never have supported trump, trying to overturn the 2020 election.

When I first read that, I thought it said "no one is better.....".

My kidneys siezed.
What California has become is too good an indication, Newsom is unfit for national office or even secretary over a department. But, regarding Rahm, there is a big difference between being a political operative, White House chief of staff, and advisor to two presidents, and actually worthy of consideration for the top job, himself.

It is going to be interesting to see who the two parties come up with to deal with the aftermath of the Trump disaster, most of us knew we were facing when he was elected.

A centrist Republican is a weak Rino. He or she would only roll over to the radical Dems. The politician you are describing is conservative. Rinos are not really conservatives. They spend like Democrats.

My question is why anyone wants to "save" the Democrat Party. Should we have listened to "centrists" who wanted to save the Nazi or Communist parties?

The Democrat Party IS the party of anti-Americanism. It will do anything to destroy our country if it puts them in power. Does anyone believe that "TDS" will go away after Trump leaves office?
Leftists Are Agents of the Right Wing They Were Born In

The Young Republicans took over and perverted the formerly democratic party after losing in a landslide in 1964. Hillary Rodham's switch is a clue that the Right is afraid to consider.

Their agenda is half spoiled-brat degeneracy and half making their Republican classmates look good by comparison.

Neither are MAGA Republicans. To your point, the MAGA Republicans are spending fools to and openly borrowing to fund more tax breaks. Last time we had a balanced budget and finished with a surplus was all the way back to Democrat Bill Clinton, and the first thing the Republicans did was get rid of the balanced budget, vote in Tax breaks for the rich, further deregulate wall street and banks, and start two wars, the second one (the Iraq war), simply because they were not having success with the first objective to find Bin Ladin in Afghanistan. Then they ushered in the financial collapse. Since the economy was growing like gang buster when Trump came to office, he went for more tax breaks for the rich. Now he has had congress borrow $4 Trillion Dollars to finance more tax breaks for the rich in the Big Bastardly Bill, and this month said we cannot afford healthcare as the money is needed to fund the new war he started, while anticipating taking over Cuba, as if any Americans give a rats ass about Cuba. We gotta get somebody from the center, with some leadership and statesman capabilities, as well as a centrist financial plan, not based on Americans paying the US Government Tariff money, every time the President gets pissed off at some foreign country, many of which used to be allies, before he came to office.

You’re no centrist.
