Lets listen to a person who lived in both socialist and capitalist systems has to say.

Don't worry. This isn't for the board American leftists. Their ability to see and hear have long been taken from them. Scary, when you think about it.

Anyway listen to what she says.

She is clueless. Socialism is when the government OWNS the means of production period. No Democrat is pushing that. Pushing for higher taxes is not socialism. Democrats believe that the US should provide services to it's people. I don't necessarily agree with Sanders' solutions, I do agree with him on the problems facing the country. The Fed says that for the first time since it has measured the statistic, the top 1% own more wealth in this country than the middle 60%. Yet we are told that ordinary people making more money is a threat to this country yet it is okay for the rich and powerful to be swimming in cash..

We won't agree on what THAT means, either.

I'll say it for the thousandth time. I can't make it more clear than this:

The goal is to find the optimal place on the continuum between government involvement/cost and smart capitalism. Excessive government creates too much of a drag on the dynamics of capitalism, but too much under-regulated capitalism creates too many imbalances in the system and will invariably lead to overcompensation in the opposite direction.

If that makes sense, great. If not, I don't know what else to tell you.
And that is the correct motorcycle. Just like taxation levels, neither extreme is desirable. All that's really left is to argue about how far in either direction we should go.
