Let's Eliminate Government-Mandated Handicapped Parking Spots.

I don't begrudge deserving people, either. But I do begrudge young fatasses. Simply being obese enough to slow down your walking can get you a permit.
You're talking out your ass, of course.

Still wrong, idiot. I've never had call to use such spots, but I sure as hell don't begrudge them to people who need them. Your "they are so easy to get!" bullshit is nonsense. Several of my close friends are doctors, and they tell me they are very hesitant to give out such placards because the government keeps a close eye out for fraud.
I'm glad your friends are conscientious about giving out placards, but unfortunately, that is not as common as you think.

It's a lot like disability pay. A lot of people receive that who shouldn't. It's like how PTSD is too broadly defined in the military. That should be reserved for people who actually were directly affected by violence, not some guy working at a desk or fixing motors.

I park as far away from everyone else as possible.

That way typically careless people aren't dinging the dog shit outta my vehicles like they tend to do in their mad rush to get to the goods in a hurry and they're also not parking their empty shopping cart up against my vehicle when they're finished with it rather than walking it back to the place it's supposed to go when they're finished with it.

The sadness is that there are millions and millions of people abusing the disability laws.
And that is the problem with government mandates.

There are those who will game the system.

I would have no issue of putting camera's on the handycap spots. Have the video sent in and audited. If you catch someone, fine them and give them court room hell.

It would slow it down.

But there will ALWAYS be GAMERS.

I don't care. I read your sternly moral posts elsewhere and have a little giggle.
The main reason that cruelty has been such a driving force in MAGA is the notion that others are struggling make them feel a bit better about their own miserable lives. I guess it's even better when they can make new rules that make others struggle.

They think they're the victims, they blame others for their misery, and this is their "retribution". Just like their orange savior.
