Let's do away with all high school and college sports programs.

I think athletic scholarships could be eliminated, but I don't see eliminating the athletic programs as a good thing. There a lot of positives in promoting competition, discipline, and fair play in sports that can bleed over into other avenues in life. But IMHO we do need less emphasis on winning and more on how you play the game.

Funny how it's always the 98lbs weaklings who spent their youths cultivating an internal voice for their insecurity who always call for doing away with an aspect of education that goes back to the ancient Greeks at least.

Funny how it's always the low IQ high school glory days folks who put more importance on the sports than on the academics.

Oh sure, why give kids a chance at higher education who might otherwise never have had one?

Maybe if there were no athletic scholarships then students in high schools might study harder and get better grades. There's nothing wrong with academic scholarships, and BTW there are alternatives like trade schools and community colleges. IMHO, we might be prioritizing the wrong things.

Maybe you're full of shit. Athletics don't prevent students from studying hard and getting good grades. Quite the contrary.

Typical 98lbs weakling who wants to believe that being athletic means one is not "college material." What an insecure douche.
