As they should. The woman saying Republicans are just trying to make this a political social wedge issue in an election year needs to realize that if 76% disagree, it's not a good idea. That's a huge percentage.
And actually I thought only 10% would agree a tranny should be allowed to compete against women.
I'm all for any woman who wants to compete against a man though. MMA, Wrestling, Tennis, if she wants to try to be a NFL kicker. I think in that situation, a woman should be allowed. For example of Serena wanted to enter the Mens Wimbelton to see how she would do. Or a female golfer who wants to compete at the US Open.
Wie was given a sponsor's exemption to the 2004 Sony Open in Hawaii, becoming the fourth, and youngest, female to play a PGA Tour event. Her second round score of 68 was the lowest ever by a woman in a PGA Tour event, though she went on to miss the cut in the tournament.
While there is no rule against women playing in PGA Tour events, only a few have attempted the feat and, as of 2012, no female golfer has succeeded in finishing a men’s tour event. Several women in the early 21st century did make headlines by competing against the men, but the first to try it was Babe Didrikson Zaharaias in 1938.
