Lets clear up the confusion…Was the plan to only go after the worst, go after the worst first or was it to target the worst?

Jesus Mike. First, my oldest is a second year resident MD who worked hard his whole life. My youngest is in his 3rd year of college and works in the kitchen of a chain restaurant which isnt an easy way to earn money. He can get a job in any kitchen in America because they never have enough workers. He doesnt want to do that menial work his whole life which is why he is in school.

Second. Either you dont know how jobs work or youre just typing words. Agriculture jobs are not near population centers and certainly not an after school job. Mike wants 15 year olds picking strawberries at night everyone!

Get a grip. If you were an employer you'd know there is a vast shortage of labor in America. We are at full employment. I am constantly hiring professionals in my role.

5% of all jobs in America are open. There are 2M more job openings than unemployed.
So it’s working, your kid is learning job skills to improve himself.

You do know there are kids in rural areas right? They do those farm jobs.

Yea. Youre right. Agriculture has all the employees they could ever want. The reason they hire 2M undocumented workers is that they like to speak Spanish on their farms.

Come on man. You can type words all you want. But in order to have a conversation you have to put some thought into them. There are not 2M teens in rural areas waiting to work agriculture jobs after school between 3-nighttime. Let’s have an honest discussion.

We have less expensive agri products because of the immigrants.

We do not have a sufficient replacement work force to fill in.

Anybody insists that we do is an idiot.

If sanctuary cities would work with ICE you wouldn't see them in the neighborhoods as often... they would be in the courthouses arresting criminal aliens...

The sole legitimate argument for disallowing arrests in the Courthouse has to do with the ensuing reluctance of defendants to make their appearances. It kind of fouls up scheduling which keeps their cases going longer and longer. That also leads to the issuance of bench warrants which in turn requires law enforcement to try go find the reluctant defendants. Lots of domino effects.

Worse yet, at least in NYC (unless they’ve changed their absurd policy) is that the correction officers are not allowed to share info about illegal aliens being held in jail pending their case trial (not even the court dates or release date).
