Let's be honest here conservatives. We can indeed blame capitalists for selling out our country. NOT CAPITALISM, which is different.

I challenge anyone on the left or right to wtch this documentary about Nike and their labor practices.

Keep in mind now how much money they pay their sports heroes.

Lebron James signed a lifetime deal with Nike at the end of 2015 that his business partner Maverick Carter told GQ is worth more than $1 billion. James will have to continue to move product long into retirement to reach $1 billion under the pact. His first Nike deal was worth $90 million over seven years.Aug 28, 2019

How much did nike give kaepernick?

Kaepernick's deal with Nike has surely proved a smoother ride than the one he signed with the 49ers in 2014. Fresh from leading the franchise to two consecutive NFC championship games and Super Bowl XLVII, the quarterback penned a seven-year deal worth $126 million.Sep 4, 2018

Both black heroes claiming victim status as they refrain from ever mentioning deplorable working conditions by the company in those COMMUNIST COUNTRIES, while bad mouthing this country and this President.

Granted, Trump isn't innocent, but his policies were going to put a big dent into that condition that allows China among others to full advantage of us.

WAKE UP!!!

This is the problem with how our government works though. You're not offering solutions, you're identifying a problem. Democrats love that, identify a problem without a solution. They'll create a solution for us that helps them and not the people who they were pretending to help. They'll set up government hearings, more bureaucratic jobs and control and nothing will be done to actually help anyone.

Here's a problem without a solution is playing right into the hands of bureaucrats and politicians. They love it

We have to face the fact that our beloved CORPORATIONS that the left love to yell about are to blame for the rise in China and the downfall of America.

We should all know that CAPITALISTS have been attempting to create MONOPOLIES for quite a while. Make no mistake, MONOPOLIES are just another word for TYRANNICAL CONTROL, getting windfall profits with SOCIALIST METHODS. Which is essentially what a MONOPOLY IS.

Just to review here, Vlad Lenin famous quote, "we will hang the capitalists with the ropes they sell us."

Well, it was a policy of the US to NOT DO BUSINESS with the ussr or the satellite nations like Cuba. We knew all too well the threat of that statement by Lenin was very real and we knew the lure of greed would most certainly entice CEOS and stock holders who most certainly worship money over God. That is not hard to see, at all.

Combined with a nuclear arms race with Reagan, the ussr collapsed as well as the satellite nations (most of them), the Berlin wall fell and there were grand celebrations for their first taste of liberty in over 50 years. Funny, how they celebrated that and yet the left call for full blown marxism and refuse to see the thousands desperately trying to escape it.

Well, this is not how we dealt with China. Our powerful greedy ceos saw a land of CHEAP LABOR and we opened our doors. Ignoring their vast violations of human rights and selling it to the American public. Taking our eyes off the ball and accusing America of owning slaves while our corporations raced there gleefully to build manufacturing plants. All while we willfully ignored their deplorable treatment of humans. Making ourselves feel comfortable with our sins, pretending it isn't happening, just as this country and world ignored the benefits of low costs when we did have slaves.

Well, now we are paying the price for our sinful idolatry and really no one is innocent. We all have TRUTH to face. The love of money is the root of all evil and just as the Jewish leaders once said, "we have no king but Caesar," and their land and Temple were eradicated after the last Caesar died in 68ad, we have all but openly declared that we have no God, but money.

Sorry, but it is true. Our country is now being given over to the demons.

I know this is John Stossel and many don't agree but I thought this was a good piece he did a few years ago.

Crooked politicians are to blame for letting it happen.

I think what Trump was doing was helping. I also mentioned our nation's policy in dealing with the ussr and their satellite nations.

What Trump did can be likened to when Jesus turned over the money changers in the Temple. The Jewish leaders had some sort of cushy little gig going on with the Roman government. Seemingly for a long time and here comes a man who has a large following causing that system to collapse.

Some will now say I comparing Trump to Jesus. Of course they will.

Yes, I'm sure they will, LOL

Such is a pipe dream. It would require people like Trump decide to have stuff made here and accept a smaller profit margin and/or Americans to spend more to support domestic workers. Neither seems likely.
If that’s so then why did he push for tariffs?
Because Macy*s dropped his product line and it would no longer affect him.

Andd why did Dems fight against him on those tariffs?
Because it raises prices for things we want.

Tariffs work to protect domestic industry, which is why they are used all over the world.
When you have a domestic industry of scale, it might. We don't for lots of electronics. And as we've seen with the chronic shortages, alot of other items.

You can’t expect businesses to just willingly chose to manufacture here if it will put them out of business. It’s up to the government to create the environment for them to thrive in domestically.

What I propose is this:

Create a space on store's websites or in their brick and mortar locations for items that are 90-95% made in the USA. I mean shirts with cotton grown in MS, jewelery made out of diamonds mind in Arkansas (if they still have them), corn grown in Nebraska, Fish caught in Washington or Alaska, furniture made in Ohio, etc... Packaging made in Wisconsin. All created by American workers. Mostly it will be food items at first but will branch out to cover whatever is manufactured...radios, furniture, etc... These items will have the USDA (or other Federal endorsement)

Then, on the funding end, give every SS number holder a stipend of $50 a month lets say--whatever you want it to be--to spend in those stores or on those websites.

$600...a year in my example. That is a $180B market made out of nowhere.

That is $180B put into the American economy.

As for the Government creating the atmosphere....that would be great. Tariffs didn't work. Our trade imbalance is about where it was with China when the blob got there.
Our trade deficit with China has shrunk, we don’t rely on China as much. Nothing wrong with a trade deficit, we’ll always buy more foreign goods than we export, because we are the wealthiest nation on the planet. But certain industries should be protected, and we shouldn’t outsource technology and medical goods to a communist regime.

The deficit is pretty much where it was before the tariffs. If you walked into a VA Hospital...do you think you’d find PPE made in foreign nations?

Nearly all medical equipment and pharmaceuticals are made in China. Thanks to shit heads like Biden who have been in Congress for 40+ years allowing it to happen.

The impeached president trump's tariffs didn't cost China a cent. U.S. consumer picked up that tab.

Essentially, the country is destroying SMALL BUSINESS which is largely the MIDDLE CLASS. The Large corporations are eradicating competition which is one of those words the left despise

Globo homo inc wants to finish em off with another national lockdown
All part of the plan

We have to face the fact that our beloved CORPORATIONS that the left love to yell about are to blame for the rise in China and the downfall of America.

We should all know that CAPITALISTS have been attempting to create MONOPOLIES for quite a while. Make no mistake, MONOPOLIES are just another word for TYRANNICAL CONTROL, getting windfall profits with SOCIALIST METHODS. Which is essentially what a MONOPOLY IS.

I mean i'm glad you've come to this Tucker like realization that markets are not infallible but it's a bit late for that eh?

Fuck the free market we need nationalized medicine woooooooo

Also would be nice if we didn't have the chamber of commerce trying to drown us out with low skill labor

Congratulations. You have come to realize that capitalism in and of itself is not the problem but rather hwo it is used that is.

So you favor regulating capitalism so that capitalists can't abuse the system.

You're a progressive.

I have always realized that, and I also know there is no such thing as a utopia. The leftists being manipulated by marxist propaganda has no intention of keeping any version of capitalism or the FREE MARKET alive.

Monopolies kill the free market. Monopolies are dictatorships. Since as we know 99% of all politicians are for sale, we know what that means. We see how many corporations donate to the parties.

Giving companies TAX INCENTIVES to STAY HERE is NOT a bad thing. That is the deception the left fall into with the class warfare propaganda. Giving COMPANIES TAX relief, helps the WORKING CLASS and the left wing voters cut their own throats by not understanding this.

That is the reason we should not have voting be a right. Too many swaths of people are too easily seduced by three word campaign slogans and we have brain dead walking tropes doing the bidding of culutral marxist propaganda, whose goal is acquire and maintain absolute power.

Hence the reason you see such celebration when communist governments fall. It is the reason no one from America are desperate to live in marxist countries. That is the reason you see hundreds or thousands or people living in marxist countries flee and willing to die attempting it.

Monopolies have NOTHING to do with a free market.
