The WikiLeaks website last week leaked a secret State Department cable from October 31, 2008, directing United States officials to spy on Israel. The cable, dated only days before the 2008 American presidential elections, was signed by then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

The recently leaked cable reveals former U.S. President George W. Bush’s foreign policy czar instructing American diplomats in Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as well as the Defense Intelligence Agency and the CIA, to conduct a massive espionage operation against the Jewish state. The sought-for information covered all aspects of Israel’s political system, society, communications infrastructures and the Israel Defense Forces.

Regarding the IDF, US diplomats and spies were instructed to gather intelligence on planned Israeli military operations against the American-backed Palestinian Authority, Syria and Lebanon.

They’re willing to go in there and bomb. They have a consistent impulsive desire to make war on Arab and Islamic states in a neverending campaign, almost like an Orwellian campaign they will never outlive, that’s why I have a problem with that thinking. … we’ve got to get to the bottom of it. Why did they take us to Iraq, because that’s the same reason they want to take us into Damascus and why they want to have permanent war with Iran.

A vast majority of the decision makers, to include Dr Wolfowitz, were Members of the Project for a New American Century, and thought that the US should demonstrate is commanding influence in the Middle East. This dates back the late 1990's.

Try looking at the whole history and you see that Iraq was invaded in 1990 because they invaded Kuwait and fired on American citizens. Then 9/11 was the call to invade Afghanistan looking for bin laden, not to invade Iraq

So no eyebrows were raised last year when the Obama administration began collecting names for its halfhearted coalition against the Islamic State, and Israel was, once again, not publicly asked to contribute. Australia and Belgium, Jordan and Qatar, Turkey and Britain were all expected to help with the fight. Israel — much closer to the action geographically than Denmark, better equipped than the Netherlands, on higher moral ground than Saudi Arabia — was once again left out.

Since those clowns are the creation of the Casa Blanca, Israel is, naturally, not permitted to deal with them. Besides, with all due respect to the IDF, the russkie hardware, currently deployed in Syria, is all russkie kewl domestic not-for-export stuff, and very capable and dangerous. Jews don't have a dog in this fight.
